The Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization founded by Sheriff Joe Baron of the Norfolk (VA) Sheriff’s Office.
The Foundation was established in 2017 as a means for the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office to give back to the community we serve and provide programs for seniors, youth, and citizens throughout the community.
The Norfolk Sheriff’s Office is a values-driven organization committed to public safety, public service, and public trust. The Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation gives us the opportunity to fulfill our mission to public service and exemplify our purpose of making a positive difference in the lives of others as far as we can reach.
Throughout the year, the Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation provides support for community outreach programs hosted by the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office including the Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation Summer Camp, Camp HOPE Norfolk, Senior Fest: A Senior Support Services Seminar, donations of school supplies, coat drives for children and adults, student scholarships, vests for deputies, turkeys and holiday meals for those who need a helping hand, and more.
Not only do these programs provide opportunities for community members to participate in events they may otherwise not be able to, but they also give citizens an opportunity to interact with law enforcement and build meaningful relationships.
The Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation serves as the main source of revenue for all of the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office community outreach and we greatly appreciate your support.
